Where your data goes.

Audio stays on this Mac. Transcript text goes in short pieces through RepSidecar’s relay to our AI provider to write cards. This page shows each step.

Draft

This is plain-language draft text. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not yet in effect. Statements about the product describe how it is designed to work. Each one is checked against the finished build, with a dated test, before launch.

What we holdDraft

Call audio
Stays on this Mac. Not saved by default.
Transcript text
Transcript text is sent in short pieces as the call runs. It passes through RepSidecar’s relay to our AI provider. This is how cards and the wrap are written. We are building the relay to store none of it. We will publish the dated test that checks this before launch.
License and usage
Your license key and a count of calls and call-hours, so we can bill and apply fair use. The app checks the license when it first opens. It also sends one “call coached” event per call, with the build number and a timestamp. The event has no call content.
Waitlist
The waitlist form stores these fields: email, role, sales calls per month, country, the “where did you hear about us” answer, first_touch, page and submitted_at. The first_touch field is the site that sent you (the referrer host, or the src or utm_source value in the link). Your browser tab keeps it in session storage until you close the tab. The page field is the page address. The submitted_at field is the time you sent the form. We also add a time stamp when the entry arrives. We use these fields to email you one short question, to tell you when RepSidecar opens, and to learn who it is for.
Contact form
The contact form stores your email, your message, and the page address. We also add a time stamp when the message arrives.
Where entries are stored
Waitlist and contact entries are stored in a private Google Sheet controlled by RepSidecar's founder. Google is the sub-processor for that sheet.
This website
The pages load the IBM Plex fonts from Google Fonts. Google therefore receives your IP address and browser details when a page loads. We plan to host the fonts ourselves before launch. The site has no other third-party request.
Crash reports
Optional. Off until you turn them on. They carry no transcript text.

The named AI provider, the retention period for each item, and the list of other services that touch your data will be published here before the first payment.

The people on your callDraft

Tell your guests this call is transcribed. RepSidecar shows a one-line prompt and a script you can read aloud, at first run and at each new call. A “Guests told” toggle sits in the window footer.

A visible indicator, Listening · this Mac, shows when RepSidecar is listening. When capture stops, the words change to Not listening.

Rules on recording and transcription differ by place. This page is not legal advice.

LimitsDraft

  • Cards come from words and actions in the transcript. RepSidecar does not read emotion.
  • It can miss context. You are the one on the call.
  • US only at launch.
