Is RepSidecar a note-taker?
No. RepSidecar is a live sales call coach, not a note-taker. It shows one short card while the call runs. When the call ends, it writes your follow-ups and an email draft.
Does RepSidecar join the call as a bot?
No. No bot joins your call. It listens on your Mac. Tell your guests this call is transcribed. RepSidecar reminds you each call.
Is RepSidecar a Gong alternative for founders?
For one person who sells, yes: RepSidecar is a one-person alternative to team platforms such as Gong. Team platforms are built for sales teams and managers. RepSidecar is one plan for one person and is built to coach during the call. It is not released yet.
Who is RepSidecar for?
RepSidecar is for founders who do founder-led sales, and for fractional and solo sellers who work on a Mac. It is one plan for one person. It is not built for managers who coach a sales team.
When should I use a note-taker instead?
Use a note-taker or call recorder if you want a full recording and a searchable call library. RepSidecar is built not to save audio by default.
