Short answer: yes, if you sell alone and want help during the call. RepSidecar is a live sales call coach for founders who sell on an Apple Silicon Mac. Gong describes itself as “purpose-built for revenue teams”, with managers who review calls to coach reps. RepSidecar is one plan for one person. RepSidecar is not released yet.

  • Who RepSidecar is for: founders who do founder-led sales, and solo reps, who run their own sales calls on an Apple Silicon Mac.
  • What is different: RepSidecar is built to coach you during your own call, one card at a time. Gong is built for revenue teams, where managers coach reps from recorded calls.
  • RepSidecar price: planned at $39 a month, or $29 a month billed yearly ($348 a year). Gong shows no price on its pricing page. Gong offers a custom proposal.
  • RepSidecar trial: planned at 14 days, up to 10 calls, no card. Gong asks you to contact it about trial options.

What is RepSidecar?

RepSidecar is a live sales call coach for founders who sell on an Apple Silicon Mac. It is built to listen to your call on your Mac and show one short coaching card at a time, in the method you pick. RepSidecar is not released yet.

Design, not yet tested. Each line below will be tested and dated before launch.

It is built to transcribe audio on this Mac. After the call, it is built to write a wrap: pain, buyer, next step and what you owe. Try a sample card to see what one looks like.

Planned founding price: $29 a month, locked with no end date while your subscription stays active, for the first 100 subscriptions. A $29 reservation is planned and not open yet. When reservations open, your $29 covers your first month. When the build ships, you choose: start your $29 a month subscription, or take a full refund. Nothing is charged again unless you say yes. If you subscribe, founding is billed monthly; the yearly plan is $348 up front, which works out to $29 a month.
